1) certifies deeds (agreements, testaments, powers of attorney etc.);

2) takes measures on protection of inheritance property;

3) issues certificates of heirship;

4) issues certificates of title to a share in the joint property of spouses at death of a spouse;

5) issues certificates of property acquired by public tenders (auctions);

6) issues certificates of property acquired by invalidated public tenders (auctions);

7) makes an inventory of property of the individual declared missing or whose place of stay is unknown;

8) issues duplicates of the notarial documents kept in the notary’s files;

9) imposes a ban on alienation of real property (real property rights) to be subject to state registration;

10) certifies that copies (photocopies) of documents and abstracts thereof are true and correct;

11) certifies genuineness of signatures on documents;

12) certifies authenticity of translation of documents from one language into another language;

13) certifies the fact that an individual or legal entity is the testamentary executor;

14) certifies the fact that an individual is alive;

15) certifies the fact of staying of an individual at a certain place;

16) certifies the time of presentation of documents;

17) delivers statements from individuals and legal entities to other individuals and legal entities;

18) accepts monetary amounts and securities in deposit;

19) makes executory endorsements;

20) notes bills;

21) notes marine protests;

22) accepts documents for safe custody.
